Washington hasn’t made a huge impact yet, but another #94 in recent Bears memory was very effective on special teams. Brendan Ayanbadejo only was on the team for 3 seasons, but his impact was huge for those years. He represented the NFC in the pro bowl in 2006 and 2007. He had excellent open field tackling skills. Also, is it a coincidence that the first year Ayanbadejo left the team was the first year Devin Hester wasn’t the best punt returner in the game? I’m not sure, but that guy could block like no one’s business.
