In today’s NFL, being drafted in the sixth round doesn’t bode well for your chances of making the team. But, Isaiah Frey clawed his way on the roster, and is now a rotational player at the CB position. Frey appeared for your Chicago Bears in 2013. He recorded 47 tackles and deflected one pass. Frey has proven to be a decent nickel corner. And with a limited role this season, he could be a key contributor on defense. Although, it’s tough to grade Frey’s performance last year, given the terrible play of the front seven and their inability to consistently generate some semblance of a pass rush. But, it’s safe to say that given the defensive mess that happened last year, Isaiah Frey has been a pleasant surprise.
