Priority Undrafted Free Agents

G Ryan Groy – The undrafted rookie had the key block on Ka’Deem Carey’s 15 yard run. Groy pulled from the right and sealed the LB out of the hole. Groy isn’t known for his mobility, which makes it that much more impressive. He was beat bad on one pass play resulting in a hit on Palmer, but Groy was the Bears highest graded run blocker by quite a bit (1.2) according to PFF.

LB Christian Jones –  I would like to see Jones get more than the 12 snaps he has averaged the last two weeks. He looks the part out there and has made a nice tackle in both games, but the fact that the Bears aren’t giving him snaps shows they don’t think he is ready to contribute much in the regular season.

LB DeDe Lattimore – Didn’t do much this week after a nice debut in week 1, but with the Bears controlling the time of possession in the 4th quarter Lattimore only got 13 snaps. I still would have liked to see at least a tackle or two. He’s a long-shot, who I really like, but needs to take advantage of every chance he gets if he is going to make the roster.

RB Jordan Lynch – Did not play 🙁

DT Brandon Dunn – Didn’t see the field until the Jags final 6-play drive. Dunn got a nice push inside on a pass play but still looks really slow to me out there.

DT Lee Pegues – Was only on the field for 5 snaps and didn’t show me much for the 2nd week in a row.
