After a quiet Trade Deadline, the Fantasy Football Week 9 Rankings are in without major changes. Vincent Jackson remains in Tampa Bay and Jay Cutler isn’t going anywhere. Instead of trades, injuries filled the early week news wire, with Giovani Bernard, Justin Forsett, and Tony Romo now listed as questionable heading into Week 9. As players go down, others will fill the void as the Fantasy Football Week 9 Rankings continue to be filled with newcomers and second-stringers.

Not a newcomer however, Tom Brady sits as the top rated quarterback for the first time in 2014. While the Brady-Manning Bowl should be a good game as always, with 212 combined fantasy points between the two of them over the past 4 weeks (26 points per game), enividably one must be ranked ahead of the other. With 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions since Week 4, my pick is Brady.

Despite a 50 point performance in Week 8, Roethlisberger remains low on the quarterback rankings this week. The emergence of Martavious Bryant certainly adds value to the 32-year old quarterback, but with just three games of over 20 fantasy points this season Roethlisberger remains an iffy start. Keep in mind, his career-highs are 4,328 passing yards (2009) and 32 touchdowns (2007). He’s on pace for 4,760 passing yards and 32 touchdowns. At this point in the season, the elite fantasy quarterbacks appear to be Brady, Manning, Wilson, Rivers, Brees, Rodgers, and Luck.
