Before we get into the second half of the Chicago Bears season, I wanted to look back at the stats some of the key Bears have put up through the first half of the season and see how that projects for the entire season.

Jay Cutler

First half stats

197/293/2093/17 TD’s/8 INT’s/4 Fumbles/20 sacks

Season Projections

396/586/4186/34 TD’s/16 INT/8 Fumbles/4o sacks

If Cutler gets to 4000 yards, it would be his highest mark as a member of the Chicago Bears.  His 67% completion percentage and 95.8 quarterback rating would be career bests.  It’s the  projected 24 turnovers that they could do without.  The 20 first half sacks likely account for a good bit of the trouble he’s gotten into with turnovers.
