Key and Peele’s New East-West Bowl Sketch is Hilarious, Despite the Packers

In honor of the Super Bowl, Key and Peele put together another brilliant scene making fun of the names of football players. This time, however, it featured a few real ones. Unfortunately, the Green Bay Packers are sort of the center of attention in this video. You’ll see why. Here’s the link from Bleacher Report.

At least the two featured Packers players are only in the video because they have an early offseason. Having said that, it’s still annoying to see that team in the spotlight.

I would have liked to see some Bears in the video, but none of them made the cut. The Bears only have a few players today with obscure names; Ego Ferguson from LSU and DeDe Lattimore South Florida. Other than that, the Bears names are mostly run of the Jordan Mills. Sorry.

Former Bear names, well known and forgotten, that could have passed in this video. For example, there’s hall of fame fullback Bronko Nagurski, former bench players Airese Currie and Copeland Bryan, former running back Red Grange ( a bit of a stretch), The Fridge, and, of course, legendary hall of famer Dick Butkus.

Am I missing any oddly named Bear? Let me know!
