Happy Hump Day, BEARS FANS!!!  I’ve decided to try to resurrect an old favorite of mine, Bear Dawn.  It’s the latest Chicago Bears news from around the interwebs.  Here’s what you need to know for Wednesday May 27, 2015…

Audio of the Ray McDonald 911 call was made public. Have a listen…

But really, McDonald wasn’t trying to get physical, he just wanted his TV’s back according to his lawyer.  You know, because a multi-millionaire who’s had a few too many definitely needs to get his TV’s back from his ex.  At 3:30 in the morning.

"“They’re arguing and he gets mad and says he’s leaving and says he’s taking his TVs,” DeFilippis said.DeFilippis said the woman had ample opportunity to leave during or after the argument if she felt unsafe.“Something got confused between her and her mother,” the lawyer said."

Yeah, confused.  That’s it.  If the Bears didn’t cut him for getting arrested, they should have cut him for being stupid.

The Sun Times sums up what the Bears front office said about Ray McDonald when they signed him.  In hindsight, it’s not pretty.

For everyone calling for the NFL to hold the Bears accountable for McDonald, there is a policy that could actually make the Bears pay a fine:

"As it turns out, the NFL has a club-remittance policy that few people know about, one designed to extract a measure of accountability from teams for the conduct of their players. Whether it is strong enough is open to debate, however. The policy caps franchise discipline at $500,000 in fines per year; for the moment, the Bears would be on the hook for no more than a $150,000 fine."

Phase 3 of OTA’s are set to start back up today.  Chicago Football’s Arthur Arkush gives us a refresher on the rules of engagement for this stage of offseason activities.

What should we be looking for at OTA’s?  ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson gives us his 5 things to watch.  Arthur Arkush has his storylines to follow too.

Kyle Fuller is looking to build on an encouraging rookie season and excel in the 3-4 defense.

Besides more digs against the Bears for the Ray McDonald signing, in his 10 Things I Think I Think, Robert Klemko thinks the NFL should start a development league.  More football?  I’m in!

In our series of roster reviews, we take a closer look at the offensive guards.

Our rookie draft profiles continue with some analysis on wide receiver Kevin White, defensive tackle Eddie Goldman and running back Jeremy Langford.
