Almost there, BEARS FANS!!!  Happy Thursday!  I’ve decided to try to resurrect an old favorite of mine, Bear Dawn.  It’s the latest Chicago Bears news from around the interwebs.   Here’s what you need to know for Thursday June 11, 2015…

Our own Dan Schmelzer wonders where Marquess Wilson fits in the Bears wide receiver pecking order.

The Bears held their last OTA practice open to the media on Wednesday.  The big news coming out was Kyle Long playing a little right tackle while Jermon Bushrod and Jordan Mills‘ were out.

"“I’ve always felt I could do it but who knows,” he said. “We have guys that play right tackle so we’re going to figure out where we’re going to go. Right now they needed somebody in practice so I jumped at the opportunity.”"

Long, meanwhile, is focused on just improving, especially in terms of his football IQ:

"“The higher your football IQ, the slower the game is,” Long said Wednesday at Halas Hall. “From a reaction standpoint, you see things before they happen. You can communicate certain things to teammates pre-snap. And I think it helps everybody. If there are five guys up there with a high football IQ, there tends to be less chaos in the backfield.”"

Last bit from Long, he past the whole Ray McDonald thing and didn’t want to talk about the tweet he posted after McDonald was shown the door.  You remember the tweet, right?

Sophomore D-linemen Ego Ferguson and Will Sutton have a lot of learning to do when it comes to the 3-4 defense.  Asked about his experience with a 3-4, Ferguson simply stated “Madden.”  Alrighty then.  We’ve got some work to do, eh?

Da Bears Beat looks at some worrisome positions for the Bears heading to training camp.

With so much turnover, especially on defense, the Bears are starting to see some leaders emerge.  Despite being a newcomers, it seems like Pernell McPhee will be one of those leaders:

"“Coming to a new team, you’ve got to feel things out, see who’s the leader, who’s not, figure out which guys you can sit down with and learn the game. But right now we’ve got a great group of guys. We talk to each other.”"

Matt Forte was named #48 in the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2015, moving up 43 spots from his 2014 ranking.  Forte was not happy with his 2014 ranking and called out the NFL Network last year.

Kristin Cavallari had a Twitter Q&A and answered a bunch of questions about Jay Cutler.
