Chicago Bears Training Camp: Tickets Required
Chicago Bears fans will need to get tickets to attend training camp practices in Bourbonnais.
We’re just over a month away from the start of Chicago Bears training camp, set to be held at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois for the 16th straight season.
It’s an annual right of passage for many Bears fans to take the trek down I-57 while avoiding the speed traps and road construction. This season, for the first time, Bears fans will need to get a ticket to attend practice. Don’t panic, tickets are free, except for Family Fest, which costs $8 for the practice at Soldier Field. Just head to Bears Camp to get your tickets.
I don’t know why the need for tickets. Is it for security? Is it to help manage the droves who will turn up to see the competition between Mike Glennon and Mitch Trubisky in a heated camp battle?
As has been the case in recent years, fewer and fewer of the camp practices are open to the public.
This year, only 11 practices will be open:
