As Michelle Tafoya from NBC’s Sunday Night Football reported, Jay Cutler suffered a concussion late in the first half of the Bears game vs the Texans and will not return. Jason Campbell will start the second half for the Bears.

Cutler took a vicious shot from Tim Dobbins as he tried to throw on the move. Cutler was called for an illegal forward pass, claiming that he had gone over the line. Dobbins met him at the line and delivered a head shot that jarred Cutler. He appeared to shake off the cobwebs as the play was reviewed.

Cutler continued in the game after that play and appeared in another series before the end of the half. His night ended going 7 for 14 for 40 yards and 2 INT’s. He added 3 rushes for 37 yards.

Now we’ll see if Jason Campbell can lead the Bears, who trail 10-3 at the half, to a comeback victory.
