I am a native of Indiana and a Purdue University graduate and of course, a rabid Bears fan. I remember Walter Payton’s rookie season, Dave Williams’ overtime kick-off return and of course, the Super Bowl Shuffle.

I lived, for 10 years during the Brett Favre era, in Wisconsin and I can say to you that this only helped cement my devotion to this team. I find it odd that such a negative experience could further my passion for the Bears but that is exactly what happened. My most memorable “Bear Momement” was when Charles Martin body-slammed Jim McMahon, which along with the hit list on the Packer’s towels, only served to cement my feelings in a way that can not be undone.

Now as I have spent my professional career moving about the country I can be thankful for the internet, Twitter, e-mail and the Sunday NFL ticket. Fantasy football and Tivo (not to be confused with Tebow) are a football fan’s best friends! I am looking forward to interacting with other rabid Bear fans! Bear Down!
