Congratulations to Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings, who was named September’s NFC Defensive Player of the Month.  The honor is well deserved by the 7th year cornerback who has had a stellar first month of the 2012 season, bouncing back from a benching last season and putting together a terrific offseason and carrying the momentum into the regular season.

Besides Jennings’ league-leading four interceptions, he added six passes defended (two of which were tipped balls the led directly to teammates’ INT’s), 18 tackles including one for loss.  This is Jennings’ first Player of the Month award.  (more…)
