Stefphon Jefferson (Nevada): Stefphon Jefferson might not have been a name on your radar for this year’s draft, but it should be. Jefferson decided to forgo his senior year at Nevada to enter the draft after a productive junior season with 1,883 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. Although the competition in the Mountain West wasn’t the highest, Jefferson consistently rushed for almost 100 yards every game (the three games with the least amount of rushing yards were: 78, 93, and 95). Jefferson is a very patient RB with great vision to find the best hole. He only has had one season of high productivity, which makes me question whether he can carry an NFL team still. If he can keep up the reliability at the running back position, I could see him being the next Matt Forte. If the Bears want to snatch up Jefferson, it will likely be with their later round picks.
