Free agent acquisition Josh Morgan has the most experience among the potential candidates to fill the Bears #3 wide receiver spot.  Morgan is entering his 7th season after stints with the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins.  He’s got 6 years of experience and 11 career receiving TD’s.  Word around camp is he’s been a little hard to see, starting off slowly. He’ll need to step up his game to advance in the competition.

#1 Eric Weems

I was ready to run Weems out of town, but he’s got other ideas.  After accepting a pay cut this offseason, Weems has had an excellent camp.  He’s currently listed as the 4th receiver behind Jeffery but as the top KR/PR heading into the first preseason game. He’s been catching everything thrown his way and his special teams acumen makes him an interesting choice.

What do you think?  Who’s going to fill the huge 2 catch void left by Marquess Wilson’s broken collarbone?
