Shea McClellin was the best looking linebacker on the Bears Friday night.

Yes he missed plays, everyone did; however, he also made quite a few. I watched Shea take on blockers, shed them, knife through and make tackles. He was rarely completely out of position and didn’t seem to get caught up in a wash of bodies like DJ Williams and even Lance Briggs did multiple times throughout their time in the game. Shea is coming along.

Chris Conte looked solid as well. He looked like he was out to prove the doubters wrong and did a good job for his first action since last December 29. He was hitting guys hard and was solid in coverage. It is really unfortunate he went out with a concussion. He was definitely better than everybody else the Bears have played at safety so far.

Bears punter Pat O’Donnell can kick the crap out of the ball and he can cover. The Bears made the right decision at this position.
