While I am not giving up on this year (the Bears could always go 11-5), I am also realistic and see this season being a “everyone is playing/coaching for their job next season”; there might be some slight tweaks to the roster and/or coaching staff, or, things might get blown up.

Personally I have a feeling that DC Mel Tucker is going to be the fall guy for the defense and some of the veterans won’t be back; LB Lance Briggs, LB DJ Williams, S Chris Conte, CB Peanut Tillman to name a few. I can see STC Joe DeCamillis staying on simply because the organization didn’t exactly give him much to work with, and when they did, the players were getting injured, pressed into playing typical positions on offense and defense, etc.

I give Trestman at least two more seasons.

PERSONAL RANT***

One of the most troubling things I have seen online recently is the vicious and ridiculous attacks on Marc Trestman’s daughters Chloe and Sarahanne on Twitter. Do not get after them because they love and support their dad. Dislike and disagree with Coach Trestman all you want but LEAVE HIS DAUGHTERS ALONE!!! They have absolutely nothing to do with the team! It is not cool to tell someone that you hope their dad “gets hit by a bus” or that he needs to “get the f*ck out of town”.

END OF RANT***

What do you think Bears fans? Are you a “make some adjustments and see how things go” sort of fan or a “it’s time to blow up the roster and get new coaches” sort of fan?

What would you like to see done in the bye week and at the end of the season?
