Clemson

DE/OLB Vic Beasley, SR #3 (6’2 | 235 | 4.58)

Scouting report – Plays DE for Clemson, but will have to move to OLB in the pros. Beasley is an explosive pass rusher off the edge with a great first step, good strength, and a variety of pass rush moves. Beasley was very consistent throughout his career with 32 sacks and a sack in almost every game this season. He beat some of the top LTs in SEC and should be effective rushing the passer in the NFL. He’s not great against the run but his elite pass rush potential should get him drafted in the first round.

Projection: 1st round

DT Grady Jarrett, SR #50 (6’2 | 295 | 503)

Scouting report – Undersized DT who has a quick first step and has been disruptive vs the run and pass, but doesn’t have the closing speed to rack up big sack totals. Jarrett should be a solid rotation 3-tech in the NFL, but needs to get stronger to earn a starting job.

Projection: 3rd-4th round

MLB Stephone Anthony, SR #42 (6’2 | 245 | 4.78)

Scouting report – Three year starter and defensive captain for the Tigers who has been a very productive run-stopper. He attacks the run aggressively, sometimes to his detriment if he misreads the play, but gets it right more often than not. Anthony has been a big hitter at times and rarely misses a tackle. Worst case he will be a solid 2-down LB who can be a special teams asset, but I think he has 3-down potential. Anthony has a chance to earn a late day 2 grade with good performances in the Senior Bowl and combine.

Projection: 3rd-5th round

* Anthony is suspended for bowl game due to “targeting” during South Carolina game.
