As great of a pass rusher that Freeney was, Ware was better. Ware has tallied 134.5 career sacks and is still playing at a high level for the Denver Broncos. He’s been selected to 9 Pro Bowls, 7 All-Pros and has twice led the league in sacks. Ware was also named to the NFL’s All Decade team for the 2000s, and was defensive player of the year in 2008. The only accolade left for Ware is the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which he’ll have to wait five years for that after he retires.
