In this year’s Fandom 250, Chicago Bears fans did not rate well.

The 2016 version of FanSided’s Fandom 250 is out and Chicago Bears fans did not exactly come across as rabid. Out of the top 250 fan bases across all walks of life (sports, tv shows, comics, etc), the Bears ranked 181st. That dropped them 12 spots from last year’s low ranking. That ranking puts them 15th among NFL fandoms and ranks them just below fans of Coca Cola, the movie Frozen, and Demi Lovato. That does not seem very positive in the eyes of this Bears fan. To get an idea of where all other teams’ fans rank, you can check out the full list here.

While the Bears have had some empty seats at Soldier Field late in the season the last couple of years, it’s hardly to knock the fans for not supporting a horrendous product. It doesn’t make the fans any less devoted because their team has been tough to stomach.

Isn’t this the same fan base that ESPN chose to create a multi episode documentary about how devote they are? It doesn’t matter if the series fell flat on its face, it’s still the fact that the number one sports network in the world thought the first fan base it should feature in “We are the fans” was Chicago Bears’ fans.

Did the Bears fans get dissed? Sound off in the comments and let FanSided know if you think they are accurately placed 3 spots below fans of Demi Lovato (come on!)
