The Bears’ defensive front was very stout against the Jets’ running game, and set the tone for holding New York to just 57 yards on the ground. No sacks were recorded by any of Chicago’s defensive linemen, but they did help put pressure on Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold. Roy Robertson-Harris had four tackles and a tackle-for-loss, while Eddie Goldman registered four tackles of his own. Rookie Bilal Nichols continued to impress with three tackles, as did Akiem Hicks.
