Mitchell Trubisky will win the Chicago Bears starting quarterback position

When it comes to training camp, everyone wants to see who will be under center versus the Detroit Lions in Week 1. Most fans and analysts have already anointed Nick Foles the starter. This happened before Foles even found his way to Chicago during the pandemic.

The thing is, Mitchell Trubisky has plenty to say about the situation. He has been busting his rear this offseason to recover from his shoulder injury and also build up his strength. I recently wrote about why Trubisky should be the starter Week 1 while Nick Foles should only start if Trubisky should become injured.

Remember, this is a bold prediction. Seeing that it is likely Trubisky winds up being the starter to kick off the Chicago Bears regular season, I will go above and beyond this prediction. Instead of winning just the starting position for Week 1, I will also predict that Trubisky will be the starter all season long unless he sustains an injury.

Trubisky is not a great quarterback, but he is better than he gets credit for. For a more in-depth analysis of my reasoning, check out the original article.
