Ryan Pace always trades up

It is not always in round one, but it is always Ryan Pace trading up. From Mitch Trubisky to Eddie Jackson, to Anthony Miller, Trevis Gipson, and more. Ryan Pace talks about conviction and follows it. He sees his guys and goes and gets them.

Again, nobody is saying that Pace is going to make the right decision, or that he will not overpay. However, Pace is going to find his way to get up there somehow. The issue with this is whether or not teams really can let him get that high.

Adam Schefter has reported that the top four quarterbacks could be gone by pick-six. Can the Bears get to six? They could get to 10, or 11 for Mac Jones, perhaps.

They also could draft an offensive lineman, say, Teven Jenkins with their first-round pick. Then, they could move into the backend of the first round for someone such as Kyle Trask.

Next. 10 FAs Bears could still target in 2021. dark

Pace leaving round one with a tackle and quarterback would at least be the type of move to give him momentum towards keeping his job.

Still, no matter when it happens, or who he picks, you have to bet that Ryan Pace is going to swing for the fences to move up and draft a quarterback.
