Could the Chicago Bears look to bring in someone else to play left tackle?

Here’s the thing, there are other teams that will need to make some serious cuts as well. As teams round out their final rosters, a second wave of free agents will likely hit the market soon just as they always do after the NFL Draft.

Without getting into names (that will happen at some point later), there is at least one handful worth of players available who would be equal to or an upgrade over Charles Leno. The key here is that these players would come in cheaper than the $11 million dollars Charles Leno would have earned if he remained on the team.

One of the hot names everyone is talking about is Eric Fisher. Although I would love this idea, I fear he will not be fully healthy to start the season. Some rumors have him possibly coming back in August, however, coming back from an Achilles injury like that takes quite some time.
