4. Charles Snowden

Charles Snowden was the clear-cut nominee for the UDFA who will get training camp buzz. He has delivered and stacked a good camp with a good week one preseason performance. The reality is that it will be tough for him to make the roster.

Jeremiah Attachou and Trevis Gipson are the two clear backups and it is hard to imagine either passing Snowden on the depth chart. The Bears could certainly keep five edge rushers on the roster, but even then Snowden may be behind James Vaughters. Vaughters is older with much less upside, though.

The Bears should reward Snowden for his big game by getting him some snaps earlier in the game. If he fails with more work, Vaughters will stay ahead of him and a year on the practice squad will do. If he excels, he has to be in consideration to make the roster.
