3 New Year resolutions for Chicago Bears for 2022
2. Make a clean break all the way down
They have to start at the top, and they may even be prompted to let the new decision maker decide on roles such as General Manager and head coach. However, in almost any case, the Chicago Bears need to clean house and make a break all the way down the organization.
That does not mean that Ryan Pace gets promoted or demoted, or changed into any roles. If he is around for the new staff there is still too much old lingering. Matt Nagy has to go to, and in most cases, the entire staff should move on, including Sean Desai. Perhaps he is a young up-and-comer, but it is hard to justify keeping anything.
Justin Fields is here and is in year two, and everything else should be examined with the thought that new staff can move it.
