Ryan Poles won over Chicago Bears fans pretty quickly with one short phrase

When the Bears continue to let down their loyal fanbase, sometimes it does not take that much to pump them up.

I admit it is a great quote from your first day on the job. There are already t-shirts for sale for those who want to drink the Kool-Aid. There is nothing wrong with this sort of thing. How can you not get excited seeing your new team builder get fired up for the job? The road will be tough with plenty of ups and downs, but Poles sold the fan base on Day 1 his passion for the job and his detailed plan going forward.

There is plenty of praise for Poles. From Boston College teammate Matt Ryan to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, this is a young guy who has climbed the ranks of the NFL front office. The lights do not seem too bright for Poles. While his confidence is sky-high, he knows he will need help to bring a winner to Chicago.

Ian Cunningham was hired on Saturday to be the assistant GM of the Bears. It is the first assistant GM in Chicago Bears history and Cunningham comes from a background of success. He owns two Super Bowl rings, one with the Ravens in 2012 and the other with the Eagles in 2017. His experience in player scouting and player personnel bodes well for a roster that has plenty of needs.
