The Chicago Bears should look to re-sign these players this offseason

  • Re-sign Jakeem Grant – 1 Year / $2.5 Million
  • Re-sign Sam Mustipher – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign Artie Burns – 1 Year / $2 Million
  • Re-sign Deon Bush – 1 Year / $2 Million
  • Re-sign Christian Jones – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign Deandre Houston-Carson – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign JP Holtz – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign Jesper Horsted – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign Patrick Scales – 1 Year / $1 Million
  • Re-sign Patrick O’Donnell – 1 Year / $2 Million

All of the re-signs are self-explanatory, Jakeem Grant was an All-Pro and had a game to remember vs Green Bay. I’ve also seen enough of Jesper Horsted to bring him back after he got thrown to the curb after being arguably the best tight end on the roster last year.

James Daniels will part ways with the Bears because I don’t see him as a necessary piece to our success. Daniels is a solid pass blocker but is not very athletic and has been less than impressive when pulling. James Daniels is just good enough to be on a team but good enough to get extended, which is why I won’t be paying him big money this offseason.
