Free Agent Ryan Poles Could Bring to the Chicago Bears: Byron Pringle, WR

If Demarcus Robinson isn’t the option the Chicago Bears go for some depth, maybe Byron Pringle would fit into their plans. Just like Robinson, Pringle cannot be anything more than a WR3 or WR4 in this offense.

Pringle has only been in the league for three years but is already 28 years old — nearly a year older than Robinson by the way. He is coming off his best season to date with five touchdowns and 568 yards. Throughout his career, he has had a catch rate of 72.0% throughout his career but did not see many opportunities until this past season.

With Ryan Poles being in Kansas City, he should have firsthand knowledge of which of these two would make for the better option at the backend of the depth chart. Maybe, if the money is right, Ryan Poles decides to bring both in and see who sticks around once the season gets closer. Either way, both would be nothing but depth signings.
