2. Leo Chenal, LB, Wisconsin, and Darian Beavers, LB, Cincinnati

We used multiple players on the last slide and it opened the door up to do it again here. The Chicago Bears need a partner beside Roquan Smith and a distinct one that matches the skill set Smith.

Chenal and Beavers both won by showing that they are bigger linebackers. Beavers dropped weight and still was one of the bigger linebackers while Chenal weighed 250 pounds.

Beavers was elite in the jump and had a 3-cone under 7-seconds, which is rare for anyone his size. On top of that. Chenal somehow had an even better day.

Chenal may have tested so well that the Chicago Bears would have to consider him at 39, which is probably going to take him out of their range.

That is unfortunate, but it does put Darian Beavers in a spot where he could be that mid-round gem who is a force against the run and allows Roquan Smith to play a more free-flowing style of Defense. Both of these linebackers pushed up their stock in a big way.
