2. Will Mario Edwards hit 2.5 sacks?

Mario Edwards has been healthy for six NFL seasons, and he went over 2.5 sacks in three of them. So, it is a coin flip. However, we can make the case that he will go over. As noted, this is the most snaps he should see since 2017.

In 2017 he had 3.5 sacks. Even in 2020, he had four sacks, so he did it recently, he did it with Chicago, and when he got more snaps, he also did it.

Beyond that, his best role will be as a pass rusher. He will play more snaps this year, but so will Justin Jones and Angelo Blackson. Those two are better against the run, and they will need to get their most work on early downs.

Instead of running the worn-down interior rushers, this will be the time to give them a break and get Edwards in to rush the passer. With that in mind, we could see another four-sacks season and will go over.
