4. Corey Dublin

Corey Dublin was signed just a little over a week ago. He was a rookie UDFA, and he was only signed because Doug Kramer was placed on the season-ending injured reserve. The Chicago Bears’ quick turnaround from week one to week two did Dublin no favors.

He was thrown into the game, only because Dieter Eiselen was injured for a couple of snaps. Dublin looked like a player signed two days before getting thrown into an NFL game.

Still, even after ten days, he is not going to be ready for real snaps. Beyond that, the team needs to see Dieter Eiselen get as many snaps at center as possible. He has never played the position, but he at least could make the roster, or at the least make the practice squad.

They signed Dublin because they needed depth at center by any means. Still, if they can go through the next game without even playing Dublin they would. With that in mind, he is likely to get cut.
