2. College and Athletic Profile

Armon Watts was a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL draft. This means that he went two rounds after Riley Ridley and just a few picks before Duke Shelley. Watts redshirted his first year and barely played his freshman and sophomore campaigns before finally getting on the NFL radar with a strong RS JR. season.

Size is a plus for Watts, but he is not the most athletic player. When you combine that with his lack of production early on you can understand why he slipped through and fell to the sixth round.

Still, the Vikings got three seasons out of him. They are changing schemes defensively, and it may end up being a benefit to the Chicago Bears.
