7. Is Courtland Sutton a sleeper name for the Chicago Bears?

This one could be interesting when you consider we have no idea how Sean Payton views Courtland Sutton. We know that he did not work out well with Russell Wilson in their first season together, and we know that the Broncos would probably like to get some picks back.

This one is interesting to follow because of the timing. The Broncos would likely want to wait until this summer to make the move. They can save $7M if they trade him right now, but if they wait until June 1, they would save $14M.

At that point, the Chicago Bears would essentially take on Sutton at a 3-year, $51M contract, which is rather affordable. One thing that could happen is that the trade is agreed to, then not processed until June 1.

The other option is that the Chicago Bears go through the draft and free agency and still are not satisfied with the wide receiver room. It is not a loaded offseason at the position. So, they call up the Denver Broncos a week or so after OTAs, and they head into training camp with a nice new addition.

It is at least worth remembering that even after the draft, there are moves out there to be made.
