Packers get embarrassed after NFL's final ruling on controversial tush push vote

Doesn't feel so good to have the whole internet mock you, does it?

What a week to be a Bears fan.

First, Ryan Poles actually gave money to an offensive lineman. Really! He actually did it. The Joe Thuney contract extension was huge news for a team that desperately needs some sort of consistency from that unit, and the Bears now actually have the resemblence of a team that has its stuff together.

But then, a mere few hours later, something even better happened: people started making fun of the Packers. It has nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers, either. Everyone's making fun of the Packers because the Packers deserve to be made fun of – what more explanation do you really need? Like, did you actually need justification?

In case you're one of the three people whose answer to that is 'yes,' fine, you're no fun, but here you go. The Packers' desperate attempts to ruin football were comically slapped down by a league vote on Wednesday, and I'm only being a little too dramatic. The Tush Push – an annoying play that is, unfortunately, also a good football play – was kept alive by team owners during a vote on Wednesday afternoon. You may remember that the Packers put an extremely-public amount of their reputation on the line in trying to ban the move, because they are the league's most historic sore losers. It obviously didn't work, and now the Packers are the new Bears. Spend one (1) single minute on the internet today and you'll see what I mean.

Packers are the laughing stock of the NFL right now and it absolutely rules

THAT'S how it feels. Today, vindication is spelled B-E-A-R-S. And sure, this really has nothing to do with them, but since when has that stopped anyone from anything on the internet? That is how rivalries work, and it's not like Packers fans show impressive amounts of restraint when the Bears do Bears things.

The Packers are big dopey sore losers. That feels so nice to say now that there's indisputable evidence of it. And honestly, it always feels nice to say, but it never hurts to have concrete evidence. Maybe the Packers can go back to the drawing board and work up a way to ban the forward pass next. Maybe they can lobby the NFL to only give them home games? They've been so full of good ideas recently, I can't to see what they cook up next.
