The Chicago Bears are practicing at Halas Hall week for the start of the team's OTA portion of their offseason program.

While Williams has had throwing sessions with DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze prior to officially being selected by the Bears with the first overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, this week is the first time that the full-team has practiced with Williams in place as the starting quarterback.

While media members will be allowed at the team's practices on Thursday and Friday, the Bears had to take to social media on Wednesday to share a ridiculous throw that Williams completed to veteran tight end Gerald Everett.

Sure, this is the time on the calendar that fans across the NFL fall for clips like this, but this throw is the reason why Williams is the starting quarterback of the Bears, and Justin Fields is the current backup quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite the fact that he was off-balanced and throwing off one foot, Williams flashed his impressive arm strength by dropping a dime into the hands of Everett. Speaking of Everett, for all the talk about the Bears' wide receivers, the veteran tight end's addition to this offense can not be understated.

There are two quarterbacks in the NFL currently that can make that throw and their names are Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Mahomes and Allen have routinely sat at the top of the NFL quarterback power rankings for much of the past three seasons, and if Williams proves he can make that throw repeatedly, the rookie quarterback will undoubtedly be a part of that conversation.
