Correction To My Last Post

I made an error when explaining the NFL compensatory pick policy.  The NFL awards compensatory draft picks based upon the contracts signed by free agents leaving a team the year before the draft.  The three 7th round picks awarded to the Bears are the result of the departures of free agents Alfonso Boone and Anthony Adams.

This is good news for the Bears since the loss of Bernard Berrian and Brendon Ayanbadejo could result in a compensatory pick as high as the third or fourth round in next years draft.
