Bears – Say N.O. to T.O.

The Dallas Cowboys released controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens on Wednesday night.   With the complete and utter lack of proven wide receiver talent on the Bears, it is tempting to think about taking a sniff in Owens’ direction.  I know that I have ripped Jerry Angelo for his lack of activity this offseason, but now is not the time to wake him up.

Owens is a cancer and destroys any team he goes to.  He tore apart the Eagles en route to a Super Bowl appearance and hasn’t done the Cowboys any good in trying to even win a playoff game.  And in both those instances, he was surrounded by legit offensive talent.  In Chicago, he would be relying on Kyle “Underthrow” Orton or Caleb Hanie/Brett Basanez/TBD-QB-of-the-future to be getting him the ball.  Can you imagine the whining and crying?  It would be more pathetic than this BS performance:

T.O. is about T.O. and nothing else.  The next time he puts the team before himself will be the first time.   You had Moose Muhammed crying about how Chicago is where wide receivers go to die.   If the Bears even think about bringing Owens here, it might be the franchise that dies.   As tempting and desperate as the Bears are, they must not give in to this temptation.

Say N.O. to T.O.!!!!

Amen! I about died when I first heard that T.O. was even a remote possibility for the Bears.  He is the LAST thing our team needs!

    Boom,

Are the Beloved really that set at QB that they can’t take a gander @ Byron Leftwich? I know he’s not exactly Joe Montana, but he’s not exactly P.T. Willis either. Great seeing you, Jess, and Coop the other night!
