Vizio has teamed up with Fox Sports Net to present some unique, behind-the-scenes looks at the NFL‘s brightest starts. This week the series features the Chicago Bears‘ own Brian Urlacher. Here’s an excerpt from the intro that was sent to me:
In the age of the 24-hour news cycle, sports radio, the internet, blogs and twitter…. athletes have been reduced to sound bites, out of context quotes and too often hearsay and rumor. The people behind the image have been left without an outlet to give their side of the story, clear up misperceptions, or most importantly see them for who they really are. VIZIO Pro Football PRO-FILES is now that outlet. Join as she takes us inside the lives of the game’s biggest stars. Names like Aaron Rodgers, Brian Urlacher, Ladainian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson and like you’ve never seen them before. You already know what they do, but for 30 minutes…you’ll find out who they are on VIZIO Pro Football PRO-FILES.
This week’s episode airs this Friday, October 9th across all Fox Sports Net (FSN) regional networks and features Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher like he’s never been seen before. Urlacher goes fishing with host Laura Okmin and speaks openly about his divorce, his children and a very ugly custody battle that led to contentious relationship with the media. He also reflects about his past as well as his future and how much longer he wants to play and the legacy he hopes to leave behind.
Check out a video tease after the jump.
Locally, the episode premiers on Comcast Sports Net on Friday October 9th at 7 PM Central. To be the first kid on your block to see it, check it out in its entirety before it officially airs by clicking here . Yes, we’ve got all the inside scoop here at Bear Goggles On.
This show goes beyond some of the typical Jay Glazer type of crap as #54 gets into some personal stuff including his divorce and messy custody battle. Pretty interesting stuff. Thanks to the guys at Vizio for sharing. Now about that new TV I wanted…
Through the month of October, my usual BEAR DOWN signoff will be in pink to raise awareness for National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
