New Face on BGO

I figured before I start posting and causing you to wonder “Who’s this idiot?,” I should introduce myself.

For the past year and a half, I blogged for Windy City Gridiron. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, but I’m excited to start bringing my perspective to BGO. Follow me inside.

What can you expect from me? I’m not an X’s and O’s savant – I know enough to get by. I do follow college football pretty religiously, so I’ll be bringing you some draft pieces after the season. Why? So you’re all prepared and know the names of the third-round talents in 2010! Maybe instead of drafting someone who can jump out of pools, we can draft someone who can, you know, block. Or tackle. Or cover. Or adequately perform any basic football fundamental.

I’ll also be publishing a link dump called “Bear Dawn” every day at 5 AM; I’ll be bringing you all of the news and notes from around the Internet. I use mainstream media stories along with some stories from fellow Bears blogs to keep you informed and aware of how bad our 5-7 Chicago Bears are. Make sure to check BGO every morning as you’re sleepily stumbling through your morning at work or home for an all-encompassing view of the Bears.
