Round 6

Dan LeFevour, Quarterback, Central Michigan- this is where things went off the tracks for me.  Um, don’t we have Jay Cutler?  If we need to add any depth to that position, shouldn’t it be an experienced signal caller, maybe someone like a Marc Bulger who is familiar with Mike Martz’s system?  Shouldn’t we be addressing PROTECTING the quarterback?  I guess if we just add another body at the position, they add an insurance policy for Cutler.

That’s not taking anything away from LeFevour, who was extremely productive at the college level.  Plus, he’s a local kid, so he will get what it means to be a Chicago Bear.  Let’s see what the Bears’ Midwest scout Jeff Shiver had to say about LeFevour:
