How did Chris Zorich lose $864,000?

A couple of weeks ago, I read a Tribune article about trouble with former Bear Chris Zorich’s foundation.  I breezed past it and didn’t think much of it.  Reading the following headline yesterday caught my attention:

Zorich still hasn’t found charity’s $864,000

How do you lose $864,000???  A dollar?  Yup!  That receipt from your last Target run? Lose them all the time.  But $864,000???  Yowzah!  That’s a big miss.  Check out this quote from the latest Tribune article:

"“I haven’t found the statement yet. When I do, I’ll let you know,” he wrote in an e-mail to the Tribune."

Now where did I put that statement?  It must be in that pile of junk mail or under that empty pizza box.  Come on Chris!
