Minor Setback for Major Wright

Major Wright was one of the few bright spots in the Bears’ 25-10 loss to the Chargers on Saturday night.  We’ll have to wait a few weeks to see if Wright can continue to make progress as the rookie safety will be sidelined with a broken index finger that will require surgery.  So far, Lovie Smith won’t rule him out beyond this week against Oakland and word is that he should be back for the season opener against Detroit.

I say give him the Ronnie Lott and get him back on the field.  It’s what a Monster of the Midway would do!
