FanVision Coming to Soldier Field

Many of us have our routine for watching games, wanting to keep up with our fantasy football stats and other NFL action from the comfort of our couch or a local watering hole.  The NFL has been trying to enhance the fan experience, especially the in-stadium experience to lure people away from their HD TV, Red Zone Channel and 30-packs of Old Style for the live game experience.  Cross off one excuse for not going to see the game in the stadium. Thanks to FanVision, you’ll be able to keep up with all the action from around the NFL at your fingertips with this nifty device.

Here’s a clip fro the press release:

"FanVision allows fans to literally take the game into their own hands and puts them in the driver’s seat giving them ultimate control over all facets of the stadium, including:Instant replay from multiple angles, including replays not offered on television or on the in-stadium video screensOut Of Town GamesReal time stats from the home game and around the leagueNFL Red ZoneLive Fantasy Football updatesThe Network telecast of the home football gameOn-Demand video featuring club-produced contentCheerleader CamHighlight reel of the game"

I heard that since the Bears don’t have Cheerleaders, that feature will be the Virginia McCaskey Cam, following the Bears matriarch around Soldier Field and will also help located her if she gets lost.  Now all we need to do is fit that bad boy with some Bear Goggles so all the plays turn out in our favor and we’ll be good to go.

The FanVision system is being introduced in 12 NFL stadia (you like my fancy use of the proper plural of stadium there? Yeah baby!) around the NFL and if you get one, it will work at any stadium that provides the service.  FanVision is being offered at the low introductory price of $199, so don’t wait.  If you’re a season ticket holder, you might as well get it early in the season to make the best use of it.

If this Bears season goes anything like I think it might, you’ll want to have something else to watch.  So don’t fret if you have to make the hour-long trek to the Soldier Field bathroom, just grab your FanVision and stay on top of all the action.    (And no, I was not offered nor did I accept any FanVision systems to tell you about this product.  I just think it’s cool.)
