…for now, I will go with the latter. Recently, Mr. King predicted the Bears would make it to the NFC Championship game this year, BUT lose to the Green Bay Packers. To a Bears fan, this is like predicting the apocalypse. Fear not Bears fans, Mr. King does not have a good track record with predictions. For 2010, he predicted the Bears would finish 7-9 and the last time he correctly picked a Superbowl winner was 1995. Add to that, Mr. King’s 2006 predictions, the last time the Beloved graced us with a Superbowl appearance, and I think you will all agree he is certainly not a king of predictions. I mean, in 2006, he predicted the Detroit Lions, yeah those Lions, would win the NFC North with a 10-6 record…whoops…
One good thing I will say is that Mr. King reminds me of a character from one of my favorite movies of all time which you can see after the jump…
Here’s to hoping that Eddie Mush, Peter King keeps his streak alive…
