Urlacher and Briggs Pull Out of Pro Bowl

If you booked tickets to Hawaii hoping to see Chicago Bears Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs representing the team in the Pro Bowl, you’re out of luck.  Following Sunday night’s heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game, the fearsome twosome of Bears linebackers pulled out of the game.

The Redskins’ London Fletcher will replace Urlacher while Jon Beason of the Carolina Panthers will fill in for Briggs.

Fellow Chicago Bear Pro Bowlers Julius Peppers and Devin Hester haven’t announced their plans regarding participation in the game as of this posting.
