Saint Olin? Kreutz Could be Heading to New Orleans
The way he’s been canonized around here in Chicago, it might only be fitting for Olin Kreutz to end up with the New Orleans Saints. Multiple outlets are reporting that the former Bears center has reconsidered his stance earlier this week of potential retirement after failing to ink a deal to stay with the Bears:
"According to an NFL source, Kreutz visited the New Orleans Saints today."
If that works out, he get to see his teammates in Week 2, when the Bears visit New Orleans in Week 2. Besides the Saints, the Ravens, who lost their starting center for a few weeks, could also be in the market.
"He is also drawing interest from the Baltimore Ravens, who lost center Matt Birk for at least a few weeks following arthroscopic knee surgery."
I hope Olin gets to sign on somewhere so he can go out on his terms.
