A Letter from a Disgruntled Bears Fan “I Feel Sick”
Editor’s note: This e-mail was in my inbox first thing this morning. Sometimes the words of a true fan best express the emotion of the day after a woeful performance in a 24-13 loss to the Detroit Lions.
I feel sick
Guys please post this….I too am a lifelong bears fan. I grew up far from Chicago and now live even farther away. I’ve had Sunday ticket since you had to pay for the equipment and attend every away game on the eastern seaboard. In fact I have tickets for the bears/eagles game this year.
The o line is nothing short of horrendous. Receivers are short and can’t catch. Tight ends have no experience. The defense makes me want to cry at the fall from grace. But the thing that makes me foam at the mouth is Lovie smith being out coached every week.
Poor use of time outs, challenges, and general play calling is unforgiving. Why wouldn’t the he kick a field goal with 20-30 seconds left. It’s a two possession game anyway. Just one example of the coach that barely resembles a human. Why can’t he get pissed once in a while. It isn’t high school football where you are gonna hurt kids feelings. Show some Damn emotions!
Oh and note to Jerry Angelo….the team is only getting older. Time to pay Forte, get some linemen, ask God for a receiver, fire Smith and take Martz with him. Please forgive my grammar. This email is from a phone I threw at my TV in the third quarter.
