Bears Will Not Repeat as NFC North Champs, Packers Clinch Division

The Bears will not repeat as NFC North champs in 2011, as the Packers clinched the NFC North crown.

With the Bears and Lions both losing on Sunday and the Packers outlasting the New York Giants to move to 12-0, neither of their closest pursuers can catch them.   Bears fans have known this for a while but now it’s official; the Bears will have to go the Wild Card route if they are to make the playoffs.  That likely means no home games and it means no byes.  If the Bears are to have a re-match with the Packers in the post-season, it will be in Lambeau.
