Jay Cutler Would Like Some New Toys

Jay Cutler is about to become a first time daddy, but the toys he’s hoping to get are not for his unborn child; they’re for him.  Cutty appeared on the Waddle and Silvy show yesterday and talked about the changes and Halas Hall:  his new GM Phil Emery, OC Mike Tice and quarterbacks coach Jeremy Bates. Here’s Jay on Bates:

"“Very happy, very happy,” Cutler said on “The Waddle & Silvy Show” on ESPN 1000. “I’ve been a fan of him since I left Denver (in 2009), and when I left Denver I told him, ‘Somewhere down the line, I hope we get to work together again.’“This is a good situation for us both.”"

When Cutler was asked about his bro-mance with former Broncos teammate Brandon Marshall, now under contract with the Dolphins, Cutler expressed interest in upgrading the position:

"“I would hope so,” he said. “I think every quarterback in the league wants that. We’re not happy unless we’re getting offensive guys year in and year out. More toys to play with."

As the father of a very active 3-year old, let me tell you Jay, the more toys you have, the more you have to clean up.

BEAR DOWN!!!
