Bears Sign Veteran Running Back Lorenzo Booker

The Bears continued to invest in the running back position a day after dropping big bucks on Matt Forte by signing journeyman running back Lorenzo Booker to the mix to compete with Kahlil Bell, Armando Allen and Harvey Unga for the third running back position.  I have but one question – WHY????

The only reasoning I can come up with is that Kahlil Bell is a bit pricey as a third running back and they haven’t seen enough out of Armando Allen et al.
